Estate appraisals · Maryland & DC
There’s a lot on your plate right now.
If the house needs an appraisal for the estate, I can take care of that. You’ll talk to me—John—not a form or a front desk.
Most people who call aren’t thinking about appraisals. They’re sorting through everything else—and someone mentioned the house needs a value. Often they live somewhere else. Often they just want it handled.
I’ve been doing this a long time. I know the process, and I know it isn’t anyone’s favorite part.
One thing families sometimes learn too late
The appraisal for an estate isn’t only paperwork. It can set the cost basis on the home—and that number follows you if the property is sold later.
Getting it right early has saved some families a great deal more than the fee. Waiting has cost others.
If that sounds familiar, we should talk sooner rather than later.
